   　こんにちは！イングリッシュ・マスターズの藤田ひろみです。
   　Stevenたち優秀な講師陣にティーチングの方は全面的にお任せで、私は後方支援？（^o^) レセプションルームで会員のみなさんの応対をしています。

   　早いもので、イングリッシュ・マスターズがオープンしてから５年目。
   この間にいっぱいすてきな人達に出会い、お付き合いが始まりました。
   　私自身の経験も踏まえて思うことですが、生徒の皆さんを見てて　「たかがエイゴで、人生変えられる」って本当なんだと納得するときがよくあります。
   　それはもちろん、英語を武器にすることで進学、就職・転職に大いに役立つ、という意味もありますが、もっと内面的なところが変わるということで、たとえば、英語に触れているうちに自分自身のものの見方や考え方が変化し、それが生き方や価値観の変化につながったという人を何人も見てきました。
   　
   　私もここで英語圏の人達と会話をしていて、自分では今まで当たり前と思っていたことが全く理解されなかったり、あるいはすごく否定的に考えていたことが歓迎されたり、日本の文化の中では１つの方向しかなかった考え方が、実はもっとたくさんの答えがあると気づかされるとき、私の日本人としての価値観は一度リセットされ、別の角度から見直してみよう、と思うことがよくあります。それが外国語でコミュニケーションすることの難しさでもあり、魅力のひとつなんだと思います。

   　ひとりでも多くの人がイングリッシュ・マスターズに来てくれて、英語を通して感動したり、新しい発見をしたり、充実感を実体験してくださったらいい、と思います。
   　
   　私は典型的なアナログ人間なのですが（いつもStevenに言われてる）がんばってここのブログには度々登場しようと思っています。
   時々は英語で！
   ですので、ここに来た皆さんも黙って通り過ぎないで、どうか一言でも入ってきてください。楽しみにしています。

   I had a really good time drinking and hanging out with you too! I was very proud of you for using English the whole time we were out. You’ve really improved a lot since your first class!

   Let’s get together again soon, this time with all the members of your class.

   Hi Steve and all of Steve’s friends! You should know that you have a really great teacher. Steve has lots of friends around Nara and throughout Japan and the world. He is also one of the greatest school directors I know. I’m sorry I don’t get over to English Masters very often but I look forward to the next time. Take care everyone! — William

   Thanks so much for stopping by with kind words for our growing online community. I’ve been really impressed with your website and online activities, as well as the great job you’ve done with refining your school’s operations since taking over. Well done, sir.

   Yes, we do have to get together more often. Perhaps you and your family would like to join us at our Christmas Party on December 2nd? Just a thought, no pressure of course:-)
